Kilimanjaro live ltd and Deautsche Entertainment AG are delighted to announce that from the end of June they will Launching MyTicket.co.uk which will be a purchase hub for all of their events in the uk with ties to the German arm of the DEAG group

The MyTicket concept was developed by Kilimanjaro’s partners DEAG (Deutsche Entertainment AG), the ticketing platform has been running in Germany for six months and is now responsible for 5 percent of all of the group’s tickets sold online in the first full quarter of myticket.de’s business operations.

The existing Kililive.com ticketing activities in the United Kingdom will now be handled on the new platform MyTicket.co.uk by the end of this month. DEAG sells around 1.2 million tickets per year via its companies Kilimanjaro Live Ltd and Raymond Gubbay Ltd, of those tickets between 5 and 10 percent of tickets are already sold in-house via the group’s own platforms. The launch of myticket.co.uk will merge the companies’ sales activities in order to open up myticket.co.uk for third- party providers next year after the start-up phase has been completed.

Stuart Galbraith says:

This is an exciting development for Kilimanjaro. We have always operated as an independent promoter and myticket.co.uk allows us to continue to do so and provide fans with tickets directly. We have many exciting projects in place for 2015. It’s a time for growth and investment in our core regular projects whilst looking for interesting opportunities wherever they arise.

MyTicket.co.uk will continue to operate on the same system that the current Kililive.com website does. This will maintain the current high quality service to customers that Kililive has become recognized for in the UK.

Kilimanjaro and DEAG consider their own ticket distribution as a strategic business unit of the Group. With the further optimized distribution strategy.

Kilimanjaro Live stages around 350 events a year with international artists across the UK including Ed Sheeran’s record breaking three sold out nights at Wembley Stadium, arena tours by Peter Gabriel, Wet Wet Wet, Nitro Circus and Andrea Bocelli. Many of these stars, such as Red Hot Chili Peppers and Simply Red have been promoted by Galbraith and his team since their early beginnings.
