In 2007 Kilmanjaro’s founder, Stuart Galbraith, was approached by AEG Live to form a joint venture to create a live music promoter to generate a pipeline of artists to play in AEG owned and operated venues.

Following a charity climb in Tanzania Stuart named the company after the mountain and its profile remains the Kili logo to this day. In 2012 Stuart led an MBO and acquired the company from AEG Live becoming its owner as well as Chief Executive.

Since its formation Kilimanjaro has continued to focus its attention on nurturing new talent whilst delivering a range of shows and festivals across the UK and into Europe.
